Indiana’s reputation as a pro-business, low-tax state is well-earned … and Morgan County turns that spirit into action for local employers. Companies that are beginning operations, seeking a new home, or looking for ways to expand have access to a number of generous performance-based state and local incentive programs.
Morgan County’s leaders build upon Indiana’s efforts by keeping local tax rates remarkably low, and further reducing the impact of taxes through abatements and TIF districts. The Morgan County Economic Development Corporation is happy to provide information about these incentives and help companies pursue them. The EDC also provides a revolving loan fund grant of up to $25,000 for qualifying businesses within most of the county.
